In 2004 I founded DK Production.

Out in the world, porn worked.

In Denmark it was a different story. The opportunities were few, and the producers were frivolous, unstructured – often pure amateurs.

I refused to accept that it should be the standard.

Instead, I chose to build something myself.

In 2004, I founded DK Production. Not as a protest – but as a solution. A place where you could take the industry seriously. Where production, safety, consent and quality were paramount.

I was young, female – and definitely not the one anyone expected to set a new standard.

But I did it anyway.

From production company, to platform and growing model network

Sometimes you have to create the path yourself because it doesn't exist yet.

I did that in 2004 – and I haven't looked back since.
